Pecks Corner Shelter
A little after 11 a.m., Forest and I hitched a ride back to Newfound Gap and resumed our hike on the Trail where we left off Tuesday. It was a beautiful day, and we made good time. We still had lots of energy, so we bypassed Icewater Spring Shelter. At about 5:15 p.m. and 10.5 miles later, we stopped to set up camp at Pecks Corner Shelter, which is located at mile 217.2 at an elevation of approximately 5,280 feet.
