We will definitely head out in the morning. It looks like we're in for another couple of days of showers and chilly nights, but it's supposed to clear and begin warming again on Tuesday.

Hot Springs Days 2 and 3
We checked out of The Hostel at Laughing Heart Lodge Friday morning and followed the Trail along the other side of the French Broad River until we found a nice spot to set up camp. I fished all day while Forest lazed along the bank, and then went into town to get a burger and gallon of water to bring back to camp. A wonderful, relaxing day.
Remember how I said once I start fishing, I just get lost in the rhythm and peacefulness of it and it's hard to stop? This morning I thought I would fish a little in the morning along the Trail. Before I knew it, it was later than I realized, so I decided to just fish for the rest of the day and camp on the river here one more night. If I had my waders, I'd be catching trout; instead, I'm catching small smallmouth bass.
We will definitely head out in the morning. It looks like we're in for another couple of days of showers and chilly nights, but it's supposed to clear and begin warming again on Tuesday.
