Hawk Mountain Shelter

We have made good time today and are stopped at Hawk Mountain Shelter for the night. Our tent is set up near the shelter. The trail is crowded today; we passed about 10 hikers on the way here, and there are about 20 so far staying here tonight. It rained on us all day, but my clothing choices haven't let us down. Forest is dry and warm; he is a champ! We are going to eat shortly and go to sleep. Better weather is expected tomorrow. Good night, everyone!
